Madama

This is possibly my most sweet-smelling conjure oils I have.

The Madama Spiritual Guide is one developed in the African Diaspora honored in the Latin Caribbean and in the United States.

Madama is of a group of enslaved African and African American women whose spirits were so strong. They helped take care of the African Diaspora of the transatlantic slave trade. Only people who have Madama in their bloodline can work with her because Madama is the ancestral spirit guide from enslaved African women. Madama translates to madame, madea, dame, mama, mama, Jemimah after the biblical Jemimah ( One of the most beautiful women of her time)

Now don't get it twisted Madama is not a mami. She was the medium, herbal healer, she was the school teacher, the midwife, fortune teller, hairdresser, conjure woman, the mother of all the children, and even the slave owners looked up to her so much they asked her for advice, took care of their kids, and respected her enough to the point she had some say to what went on around the house. She's the one who had so much power that she had praying hands that could heal the sick! She was big mama snd she is the one who helped your family to survive.

Madea is a spirit of strength, resilience, legacy, and more. Think of Tyler Perry's Medea character she would be like that in a sense, the great Marie Laveau, and Aunt Carolyn Dye would be considered Madama spirits. Madama doesn't sugarcoat anything, has plenty of love, and only wants the best for her children, family, and community. Cultures like Hoodoo or Latin cultures like Puerto Rican Espiritismo work with her. One being Protestant and the other Catholic influence. Madama's worked very closely with the Bible Madamas are very spiritual women.
